Administration of my mother’s estate
I posted a review of Marque Lawyers on Google reviews. Marque Lawyers appears to have now made themselves invisible on Google maps, making my review invisible as well. I didn’t know it was even possible to do this.
This is what I wrote on Google reviews:
‘In early 2019 I paid Marque Lawyers $1,000 to help me apply to the NSW Supreme Court for Administration of my mother’s estate. Kyra Edwards was initially very helpful but now she refuses to contact me. My emails are ignored. She may still be working on my application; I just can’t tell.
If this is “law, done differently” I will stick to “law, done the same” in future!
Update (December, 2019): Kyra Edwards now tells me that “it appears as though” they didn’t receive the documents I sent them even though I have Australia Post receipts that prove that they did!’
I realise that Marque Lawyers are not Wills & Estates lawyers. But I initially contacted a Wills & Estates law firm here in Victoria. They said I would need to contact a firm in NSW and when I asked if they could suggest one they suggested Marque Lawyers. I accepted this suggestion in good faith.
