I’ve only recently started my journey with CMC Lawyers, and my experience so far has been outstanding. Claud is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to really listen to my story, and clearly explained the laws around workers compensation. After more than two years, I had completely given up hope of making a WorkCover claim, but with his guidance I went ahead — and despite the time that had passed and the extent of my injuries, iCare accepted my claim.

I’m also working with another lawyer at CMC on a separate matter, and I honestly can’t recommend the team highly enough. The first consultation is free, so you truly have nothing to lose.

Firstly I wished to change lawyers for my WC claim, but the bill they sent to my chosen lawyer was too much, especially considering I had not had any appts apart from the initial conversations.
Secondly, I was verbally advised not to take some interim work, as it could be detrimental to my claim. This was later denied.
thirdly I was not told prior to an offer, how long this would take if I did not accept the offer.
it ended up being about 5-6 months
I was given every confidence by the lawyer, that the offer was too low.
So I rejected the $100K.
I ended up with $72K and waited to eventually be paid.
Since then, even with simple requests, I have been told our case is finished, and they can help me no further.
Emails I have sent just wanting 3 dates of Specialist visits have been ignored
